9 Married to Work, Devoid of Romance He approached him in the same style that they used to meet during college days. “Hand’s up, or I will shoot you,” said Abhijit loudly. Bikash hadn’t changed much in his looks except for a French-styled beard stylishly carved at the edges of his cheeks. There was utter silence in the restaurant for a moment till Bikash realized that this style and voice could be of none other than his friend Abhijit. He stood up with his hands up, laughed and hugged him. “It has been almost a decade Abhi! Where have you been all these years?” asked Bikash. “I am in touch with almost everyone from our college, except you. Couldn’t find you on any social networking sites,” said Bikash. “I am not on Facebook. I don’t like the way people flatter others by posting their pictures doing all the crazy stuff in the world.” “Anyway, it is good to see you. Where is your wife?” asked Bikash curiously. Abhijit pointed at her from Bikash’s table. Bikash waved his hand. “Come join us for dinner,” Bikash told Abhijit. They got their tables joined and enjoyed dinner together. After that, instead of going back home, they decided to spend some time in Zoom Mall itself. Bikash replied, “take your time, there’s no hurry!” Both started to walk slowly and sat on the bench outside the Mall. “So, how is life? And what are you doing nowadays?” asked Abhijit. “Good, Buddy! I am heading the Advisory Department of Zebby Consultation.”
