7 Married to Work, Devoid of Romance three hours were wasted due to one missed deadline. He requested the officer for another date to furnish the missing detail and with great disenchantment he hopped into his car and drove back to his office at snail’s space. Back in his office, things were already lined up for him, petty vouchers to be signed, bills to be re-checked. Old clients and a few cups of coffee to be stirred together! These clients came over on a regular basis and insisted on meeting personally for their regular errands. Luckily, there were a few today, allowing Abhijit to assure himself that he would reach home as per the schedule. He patiently ironed them out, patted himself and finally the self-motivated soldier, pretty much exhausted, headed home. While returning he evaluated, the work so far completed. Suman was still struggling with the LLP; the unfriendly browser was enough to irritate the poised Sameer; few bills were to be added and missed out charges needed to be finally raised against clients. However, he was pushing himself forward for a promised romantic dinner to the most loyal, loving, responsible person on earth. Life was at such a point where you simply dragged or got pushed to a different situation and acted in a mechanical way.
